wow! Accroding to the news paper report by The Straits Times, the concert in the Big Apple aka New York is a sucess!
maybe its because we had the help from yo yo ma
however its not possible without the talents of the players and conductor lan shui of SCO
its nice to hear that we are doing really fine in overseas concerts and performances.
although our talents are at the moment dispatched to London as well as New York for their new experience.
this is a wonderful opportunity to place Singapore on the map.
Maybe Singapore will be the future hub of many interest as well as activities.
a hub for Food, Medicine, Fashion.
and now we can strive to make Singapore a hub for say Arts as well as Sports maybe?
thats my 1 cent worth of thoughts... nothing more nothing less.
it all lies with us the people to strive and bring the not-so-noticed arts faculty of Singapore society to a new height beyond our shore.
